Just 19 years and 2 days, and 5 schools later, I FINALLY have earned a College Degree.
The lack of a college degree has haunted me for most of the past two decades.
It has taken a solid year's work (and lots of support from these three guys).
Tonight, I rid myself of the ghost by walking into an auditorium a-buzz with energy and walking out with an Associate of Arts Diploma in hand.
The completion of "just" a 2 year degree is so much sweeter because of the time and effort it took to achieve.

Belated congratulations! What a full Winter/Spring you have had! You know that we certainly share your pride of accomplishment. It was such a great feeling when Chris got his. Now he's slogging through the second two years and it does not feel quite so great anymore, still, he needs to get it done. Here's hoping you can catch some downtime to sort things out in New Mexico first. That is where you're going right?
Wow. I can't believe you're done already! It seems to me that you just announcing that you were going back to school. Congrats. I'll be doing the same in Dec of next year.
Celise - I guess you're right! Nose to the grindstone and it's quick. I think my Bachelor's will take a bit longer, but I plan to take one class in the fall semester (still trying to decide what/where though!) May just take a general class online through my newest Alma Mater!
I think you should submit the photo of you walking down the stairs to the college. Its the best GRAD photo I have seen!

What a fantastic accomplishment, and a wonderful example for your children.
