I think I'm falling in love with my local library. The more I'm around it (in person and online) the more I discover that they offer. - In addition to checking out DOZENS and dozens of books, we check out a lot of movies and audio books from them.
- I now check out many materials by first requesting them online, then the librarians (from my branch and other local branches) gather the materials and call me when they are available.
- I also use a meeting room once per week for my Mom's Playgroup.
- Being at the library so often (at least twice a week) the librarians have given me carte blanche to request new books... which they then order and add to the library's collection!
- I JUST discovered that I can download audio books for free from my local library! You may want to contact your library and ask if they offer a similar service.

We are major library lovers here, and woe the days when we live in places that don't seem to care much about keeping a decent selection of books. For the most part we've been really blessed. We use our library for homeschool resources, videos, craft books, cookbooks, activities, and so much more. A visit to the library always makes me feel rich. :)

Well, we love our local library to and yipee it was just expanded. Interlibrary loan rock and so does MylibraryDV, which is available with a card and a pin. Story hour and the Story hour players here are amazing as is the summer reading program adult reading program and teen book club. We will be using the new meeting room for a conference this summer and of course we enjoy the atmosphere of books and learning and well we jus love our library!
